Nine years in Brasilia (Cultural Affairs, operation of telecommunications equipment (including cryptographic machines), Chancellery Officer at the Press Room of the Minister’s Office – 1977/86.

Six months in San Salvador (El Salvador) – Brazilian Embassy – In charge of the Telecommunications Section – 1980

Four years at the Brazilian Consulate General in Toronto, as a Chancellery Officer (Legal and Cultural Matters, including tourism) – 1986/89

Three years in Algiers (Algeria) as a Vice-Consul and in charge of the Telecommunications Section of the Brazilian Embassy in that capital city –1989/92
